Why does it seem like all of the makeup info out there is geared towards people who have 30 + minutes to do their makeup!? It can be so hard to find a makeup routine that flows naturally, is easy to do, but most of all… is QUICK.
I personally know how hard this is. After I had my first baby I found myself not really using my makeup because my previous routine just took too long. Now, 2 more babies and a business later I have even less time, and recently had to search for a makeup routine that could give me the looks I wanted but was quick. Let’s face it, for us busy moms, if it ain’t quick, it ain’t happenin’!
In this blog post, I am going to share what I use to get gorgeous makeup looks in about 10 minutes or less. When I cracked this code, it was a Godsend. I started to feel more myself, more professional in my business and way more confident in my own skin! Here’s what we’re covering:

Step #1 – Get organized!
Does this sound familiar?
You go into your bathroom and grab your big makeup bag, you try and find all of the brushes you need ( probably 4-5 everything said and done) but it’s hard to find all at once because everything is kind of in drawers, bags, etc… but you find your basics. You start your makeup routine and the baby starts crying, the dog needs to go out, the big kids are fighting for some reason and the hubby can’t seem to find his socks. You stop and start your makeup so many times that you are ready to just give up but you can’t if you are wanting to look presentable at the very least. 30 minutes go by and your just finishing up. Your family is now all ready to go and they are hassling you because it takes you SO long to get ready. You don’t have the look you want, but it’s good enough. You all run out the door and you put your mascara on in the car on the way to where you’re going. You feel stressed and like you’ve run a marathon. You just wish there was a way you could get ready quickly, with a look you love, without being so stressed before you go somewhere.
This was my story before I found an easy makeup system to keep organized. Even if your story isn’t quite this crazy, there are still so many benefits to finding a makeup system that keeps and stores the majority of your makeup and tools so you can easily bring it with you, or find what you need to execute the looks you love quickly. So much better! It just makes me so happy every time I look at it! The makeup included in this compact is cream ( except for the eyeshadows and some illuminators aka highlighters) it looks great on a variety of skin types, helps cover unwanted discoloration, is very hydrating to the skin, and has great staying power. I was kind of apprehensive to try creams but when I did, there was no going back! To add to the organization, all of the brushes are double ended. So you have access to 4 brushes while only using 2. Simple step #2 – Master a simple & versatile eyeshadow look.
You only need 4 colors for a complete eyeshadow look. Any color family can fall into these categories:
-Light shade
-Medium/Midi shade
-Deep shade
-Shimmer shade
You can simplify this further with just using two shades as well. a light and dark, OR a midi and shimmer shade. Just play around with this and see what you love doing or switch it up!

Simple Step #3- The secret to getting your makeup to last
The art of setting your makeup is a trending topic these days. It really can be super simple even though there’s a thousand ways to do it out there. Here’s what I like to do:
- Set with a translucent powder ONLY in naturally oily areasBecause this compact has cream makeup, it’s naturally dewy (which I love) it doesn’t accentuate or settle in my fine lines and the slight dewiness gives such a youthful glow. Because I want to keep that, I only use powder only there areas that produce the most oil.
- Set with setting spray. I have combination skin so I use setting spray on areas of my face that are naturally dry. You can check out the SEINT one which is my favorite by CLICKING HERE other wise you can pick up some at ulta, target or anywhere like that!
- Set with the SEINT illuminators. If you’re on the go and don’t have your setting spray, the illuminators that you will get color matched to when you get your compact can also help set your makeup and keep the dewy look.
These 3 simple steps have made me love doing my makeup again and so many of my customers say the same thing.
